Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Born and raised in Sarawak, Vera’s Chinese-Indian roots and rich professional experience shape her compassionate approach to psychotherapy. She has worked with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, families, university students, survivors of abuse and violence, refugees (Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria & India), and psychiatric patients.
Her expertise covers anxiety, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, and developmental disorders like ADHD, autism and dyslexia. Her passion lies in helping those facing complex grief, adverse childhood experiences, and trauma from abuse – emotional, physical or sexual.
As a certified HRDC trainer, Vera advocates for mental health awareness. She has delivered numerous impactful talks and workshops on various topics regarding mental health to NGOs and corporate companies. She firmly believes that everyone has their own story of struggles and deserves to heal from their pain.
